DIOR 1 COULEUR POWDER MONO EYESHADOW

I've been using DIOR beauty products for a little over 3 years. I can remember purchasing my first beauty product from them which was a mascara and from then on, I've been a happy and pleased user of their product line. Today I'll be reviewing the 1 COULEUR POWDER MONO EYESHADOW. The compact is 1 3/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide that has a mirror on the inside making it the perfect size for a clutch or small handbag. Two light swoops of my eye shadow brush and I have enough eyeshadow powder for my eyelid. The shade I love most is the glitter shade. It has the smallest specks of glitter that's wearable for the day yet bold enough for night wear. I would have given this product a rating of excellent because the compact and eyeshadow itself has been very useful to me but I will give this product a rating of GOOD because I do have to consider the eyeshadow brush. It's super cute and small but the foam top started ripping on me shortly after receiving it even though I apply my eyeshadow very lightly. Other than that, this is a wonderful product to have. URBAN DECAY REVIEW #1 EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION

There will be a series of reviews for URBAN DECAY because I have been using a number of their products since the first week of November 2011. I received the EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION as part of my first order to UD. You can use this LINK to view details on my first order. I just love this product. Prior to receiving this product, I battled with eyeshadow creases daily. My idea of eyeshadow primers were that they were a useless product because of my poor experiences with primers from other cosmetic companies. I now know that there are good primers out there and this is one of them. Before applying my eyeshadow, I apply the eyeshadow primer. It dries within a minute. I then apply any eyeshadow for the day and finish the rest of my makeup and I'm out the door. My eyeshadow is set for a full day of work, an afternoon workout and a nice dinner out on the town. It amazes me when I look in the mirror and see the same eyeshadow application from the morning still fresh all those hours later. What amazes me most is it stands against 98% humidity and Hawaiian heat. A lot of products fail miserably when it comes to the Hawaiian heat. Not Urban Decay. I give this product a rating of EXCELLENT with the highest recommendation for you makeup lovers.

GARNIER WONDER WAVES

This is a very inexpensive product that gets the job done. My hair is naturally wavy and when I wake up in the morning I need a little something more than my hair serum to wake up my waves and give them back their bounce. GARNIER FRUCTIS WONDER WAVES WAVE ENHANCING SPRAY does just that. With a few sprays onto my dry hair and a little bit of scrunching, my waves come back to life instantly and stays that way throughout the day. REVIEW: CLINIQUE EVEN BETTER CLINICAL DARK SPOT CORRECTOR

My skin tone is olive and I'm exposed to the sun a lot because of my island lifestyle which has caused me to have uneven skin tone. I decided to try the EVEN BETTER CLINICAL DARK SPOT CORRECTOR product to see if I could minimize my age spots, scars from my most recent acne breakout and uneven skin color. Overall I liked this product and would purchase it again if I felt I needed it in the future. After more than 12 weeks of use, my acne scars diminished considerably and my uneven skin tone is a thing of the past. My olive complexion is now one even color. I do have one age spot that I was hoping would disappear but unfortunately it still remains. I did purchase this product at full department store price but for the results I was able get, it was worth it. 1 fl oz bottle sells for $49.40 at CLINIQUE.COM or most department stores.

DO TERRA ESSENTIAL OILS

June of this year I attended a DO TERRA ESSENTIAL OILS showing that a friend invited me to where I got to learn more about this product line and its all natural health benefits. There were a lot of products to choose from including oils, lotions, vitamins, shampoos and conditioners just to name a few. I was most interested in the oils so what I purchased was the INTRODUCTORY KIT for around $20 dollars. The kit includes the lavender, lemon and peppermint essential oils, introductory audio cd and information booklet that informs you of what each oil can be best used for. Occasionally I get headaches so when I feel one coming on, I use both the lavender and peppermint oils on my temples and behind my neck for headache relief. I also like to put a few drops of lavender in a small bowl when taking a bath. The smell relaxes me and sets a spa like mood. I use the lemon oil the most because I work out a lot. I put 2 drops of lemon oil in my water bottle before each class or work out session for hydration and healthy digestion. The lavender oil is made from lavender flower tops. The peppermint oil is made from peppermint leaf and flower tops. The lemon oil is made from lemon rind. Having hair that's manageable and tangle free as much as possible is a must when it comes to my kids because I'm always creating cute hairstyles for them at the last minute before walking out the door. One of my top choices for a 2 in 1 shampoo and detangler/conditoner spray is from SUAVE. The trick to using this is to remember to brush your child's hair right after they shampoo. If you allow their hair to dry without brushing, their hair will be tangled. AVEDA BE CURLY STYLE-PREP

A friend of mine is a hairdresser and she specializes in AVEDA products. Over the years I've been able to try many Aveda products at a slightly discounted price. A favorite of mine that I have repurchased many times is the BE CURLY STYLE-PREP for management of my naturally wavy hair. For me, it's best used when my hair is dry. In the morning before I apply my makeup, I spread a little in my hands and apply it to my hair from top to bottom. I then twist my hair and clip it at the top of my head while I finish getting ready for the day. Within 5 minutes I'm able to take the clip out, flip my hair and my waves are soft, frizz free and full of bounce that lasts the whole day. I highly recommend this product.
