SEPHORA SUPER SUPREME BODY BUTTER

During the year I go through about 3-4 body butters.  Usually my husband will purchase different scents of body butters from brands that I'm familiar with whenever he goes on business trips to OAHU at ALA MOANA. For my current body butter, I decided to try the SUPER SUPREME BODY BUTTER BY SEPHORA that I purchased at the full retail price of $25. Normally, I look for good deals and very rarely purchase anything at full retail price. With this purchase I did receive a bag from Sephora with travel sized samples so it was worth the $25 to me even if I ended up not liking the product. After a couple weeks of use, I'm very pleased. My feet needed it the most because they had become cracked from being neglected because I ran out body butters. After a few days of use, the super dry skin on my heels began to soften and now 2 weeks later, the cracks are almost all gone. It has a very light and clean perfume smell. I keep it on my night stand and use it every night before getting into bed. Because of how quickly my heels have healed, I will rate this product as EXCELLENT. NEXXUS THERAPPE LUXURIOUS MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO

Having a really great shampoo is super important in my opinion and is one of the first steps in feeling beautiful and smelling great everyday. There is nothing grosser than giving someone a great big aloha hug and getting a whiff of scalp oil at the same time. Here is Hawaii, you can easily acquire the stink smell of scalp oil because of the constant 98% humidity year round. All it takes is one or two days of not washing your hair. I wash my hair everyday to prevent any kind of oil build up. I purchased the large 44 fl oz bottle of NEXXUS THERAPPE LUXURIOUS MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO over a month ago and I've been very pleased with my daily use of this product. It smells very good with a hint of coconut. The lather is very rich so a little bit goes a long way. There is no waxy or heavy build up after prolonged use. My hair is left feeling silky, smooth and very soft. The best part is it has UV protection which is a feature I always look for when purchasing haircare items. This product gets a rating of EXCELLENT and I have purchased another bottle and will continue to use this product for another month and a half before moving on to another brand.

URBAN DECAY REVIEW #2 ALL NIGHTER LONG LASTING MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY

The best makeup products that have become my favorites have been used day after day in humid, sticky, hot weather and have passed the island girl test with flying colors. I used the URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER LONG LASTING MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY a few times at night and it worked very well. I put it to the true island girl test and used it everyday during day hours for the past several weeks and I must say this is an EXCELLENT product. After applying all of my makeup but before applying my mascara, I give my face 4-5 sprays. I then apply my mascara and I'm set for the day. My compact powder, mineralize finish and blush stays set for hours and hours of work, play or whatever else is going on for the day. My skin hasn't been irritated by it in any way and I have not broken out once by this product. This product retails for $29

AVEENO POSITIVELY NOURISHING HYDRATING BODY WASH

Taking a shower for the past 4 months after long days at the beach, work, family outings, workout sessions, etc, has been heavenly. The AVEENO POSITIVELY NOURISHING BODY WASH has been the best body wash I have ever used. One bottle wasn't enough when I started using this during the summer. I used up the first bottle and purchased two more after that. The sweet, fruity, buttery smell is amazing. My skin is left super soft after each use and the sweet smell lingers for hours. Using this product has made each evening shower a spa experience. The fragrance mixed with steam leaves me feeling relaxed and pampered. My rating for this product is EXCELLENT and I highly recommend it. I cannot say enough good things about it. I absolutely love this product and will be purchasing it again in the future. AVEDA TOURMALINE CHARGED RADIANT SKIN REFINER

One of the most important beauty routines I do on a weekly basis is exfoliate my face 2 or 3 times a week depending on my physical activity. Over the course of 3 weeks I used the travel sized AVEDA TOURMALINE CHARGED RADIANT SKIN REFINER that I received as a gift. My overall rating for this product is GOOD. My skin was very soft after each use and I did feel that with each use, my face was getting a thorough cleaning.  I used this product at night and I preferred using it on dry skin as opposed to using it on moist skin which is recommended by Aveda only because I felt that the cream kept its thick cream and gritty consistency better. With moist skin I felt that the cream was too slippery and the exfoliating beads weren't working as they should. What I loved most about this product was the thick creaminess of the clay and course scrub beads. Shortly after application, the skin around my nose area did feel slightly irritated by the scrub so I made sure to wash the cream off after no more than a minute after application. This product received a rating of GOOD because it only lacks one thing and thats a wonderful scent. The scent isn't bad, there just isn't much of a scent other than a slight clay smell. ABSOLUTELY NATURAL ORGANIC PEPPERMINT FOOT CREAM

During the fall and winter months my skin gets very dry. My feet gets especially dry because I'm always in slippers. I've tried several different creams over the course of several months. One of which is the ABSOLUTELY NATURAL ORGANIC PEPPERMINT FOOT CREAM. In the store I was able to sample the cream before purchase and I loved the scent and consistency of the cream. After a couple weeks of use, I'm going to give this product a FAIR rating because I used the cream religiously every night before getting into bed and it didn't make my feet feel soft and smooth like some other foot creams that I've used in the past. I felt that it moisturized my feet initially but by morning my feet needed to be moisturized again. I do however love the smell. I got the peppermint scent and another scent in a lavendar and peppermint combination. This product retails for $20.
